Tour Itinerary
Start our first leg of Journey at 7:00 a.m. ( Wembley Central ) to Llandudno. ( Llandudno is Wales’s largest resort, uniquely situated between the Great and Little Ormes with two wonderful beaches, the award winning North Shore and the quiet, sand duned West Shore. Llandudno has kept its Victorian and Edwardian elegance and splendor, despite its modern attractions).
Here you can take a ride on Llandudno Cable Car, cable car runs along the Great Orme spanning a distance of one mile, forty feet exactly. The cable car was opened in summer 1969, and has been operational ever since. The cabins give wonderful views of the Irish Sea looking over to Rhyl and the Isle of Man, as well as the Snowdonia National Park. You can also enjoy Great Britain’s only remaining cable-operated street tramway and one of few surviving in the world. It takes passengers from Llandudno Victoria Station to just below the summit of the Great Orme headland. Later in evening you have a free time to explore the seaside and have your dinner (not included ) at local restaurant and then to our hotel for a night stay.
In morning around 9:00 a.m. we start our drive to LLanberis, base train station for a Scenic Victorian train journey to summit of the summit of Snowdonia mountain (Snowdon, at 3,560ft dominates the landscape of Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. Claim this mountain peak, the highest in Wales, as a lifetime’s achievement. With stunning scenery and awe-inspiring views it’s all part of a great day out for you and your family in North Wales).
The other attractions you can visit nearby during your stop in Snowdonia national park are :
Llanberies Lake Railway : This little steam engines take you on a five-mile return journey alongside Lake Padarn, right in the heart of Snowdonia. The journey takes you past the 13th century Dolbadarn Castle, across possibly Britain’s shortest river and past Llanberis’ twin lakes. From Llanberis the train runs non-stop through the Padarn Country Park, joining the 1845 slate railway route to run along the shores of Lake Padarn to Penllyn, and giving stunning views of Snowdon, the highest peak in England and Wales.
Ceunant Mawr Waterfall : Ceunant Mawr Waterfall, otherwise known as Llanberis Falls, is situated a few hundred metres upriver from the town centre of Llanberis. The falls are probably seen by more people from the viaduct on the Snowdon Mountain Railway.Ceunant Mawr (which translates as the waterfall of the great ravine) is probably one of the most impressive waterfalls in Wales and plunges over a hundred feet in two stages into a gorge.
Ceunant Mawr waterfall in Llanberis, North Wales is a great waterfall to visit and the price is right ! Free !
